Discipline Shapes Character
Train your body, discipline your mind, and strengthen your faith. Training Day is a program for every part of your life.
Idle Time Is the Enemy
When your days have no structure, energy leaks into the wrong places. Old habits fill the gaps. Days without purpose leave room for the patterns you’re trying to leave behind.
Training Day was built to fill that space with something worth doing.
A Gym, a Program, and a Community
A full-service gym with martial arts programs and strength training. An online curriculum of 6 programs and over 100 individual lessons, from your first submission to addiction recovery to spiritual growth, all at your own pace. Behind all of it is a community that lifts each other up, shows up daily, and genuinely cares.

Body, Mind, and Spirit
Training Day works across four pillars:
Spiritually
Bible study, prayer, and church are built into the daily structure. Faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation here, not an add-on.
Mentally
Daily reading and journaling. Putting your thoughts down on paper helps you process what you’re carrying instead of letting it build up.
Physically
BJJ, boxing, judo, and weight training with a 2nd Degree Black Belt who has 20 years of teaching experience. Rick trains law enforcement and has worked personal security for high-profile clients.
Emotionally
A support group and accountability team that actually know you. People who check on you when you don’t show up and challenge you when you’re coasting.
6 Programs, Over 100 Lessons
Most gyms stop at the workout. This one keeps going: nutrition, recovery, community, and faith.

The Team Behind Training Day
Rick & Tracy Koenig

Rick has lived every martial art he teaches. A 2nd Degree Black Belt under TJ Tomlin and Renato Tavares of the legendary Carlson Gracie lineage, Rick has spent over 20 years on the mat teaching BJJ, MMA, boxing, and judo. He’s fought professionally, protected high-profile clients, trained law enforcement, and had his story told on HBO. Everything in Training Day is forged from what he’s lived and learned on the mat and in his faith. Now his mission is clear: growing warriors for God.
Behind every warrior is someone who believed first. Tracy has been Rick’s greatest supporter for 31 years, his partner in life, in faith, and in mission. Fitness is something she’s carried her whole life. A passionate personal trainer and mentor, she leads women’s fitness. Meeting women where they are and pushing them toward what they’re capable of. Together, Rick and Tracy grow Training Day and all the programs behind it.
Anthony & Julie Soumiatin

Anthony spent a lifetime proving that transformation is built on hard work. A national champion athlete and lifelong performer, he channeled that conviction into something bigger. Partnering with Rick’s vision, he built Training Day. A platform designed to equip others to grow stronger in mind, body, soul, and spirit.
Julie combines her background in sports therapy and fitness with a passion for helping people heal and grow. Through mentoring abuse survivors and leading the women’s and community outreach efforts, she helps women heal and rebuild their lives.
Three Steps to Start
Join
Sign up and get approved. Once you’re in, you get the curriculum, the community, and your accountability team.
Commit
Build your day around the non-negotiable tasks. Early wake-ups, training, Bible study, journaling, work. When every hour has a purpose, idle time doesn’t stand a chance.
Train
Show up daily. Your accountability team is there with you. The daily rinse-and-repeat program builds consistency over time, not overnight.
What Changes
People show up at different points. Some dealing with addiction, some working through mental health, some just needing a fresh perspective. They stay because the daily structure works.
The old patterns lose ground when every day has structure and the people around you won’t let you quit.
The First TD30 Challenge Starts June 22
TD30 is a 30-day challenge and the on-ramp into everything Training Day does. No gym, no equipment, no experience needed, so you can start from home. It works all four pillars at once: a morning anchor of pushups and prayer, daily tasks that build each week, and you graduate into the full program at the end.
You won’t do it alone. You get an accountability partner you check in with every Wednesday, and a group that starts together, signs the creed, and graduates together. This is the first group we’ve ever run, so we’re keeping it small.
